Diane Turek, OSHA Area Director & Nancy Hauter, Compliance Assistance Specialist

The presentation will provide an overview of OSHA's focus for 2008 - 2009.  Our speakers will be Diane Turek and Nancy Hauter.

 

Diane Turek, Area Director OSHA

As Area Director of the Chicago North Office, Diane leads an office of 30 employees in Des Plaines, Illinois.  She has over 30 years experience in safety and health.  Her primary responsibilities have been the enforcement of the OSH Act.

 

Her Area Office is the fourth OSHA Office in the nation to obtain VPP Star status! 

 

Ms. Turek has a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from Lewis University.

 

Nancy Hauter, Compliance Assistance Specialist OSHA

Nancy is an Industrial Hygienist.  She has worked for OSHA for the past 19 years.  She started as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer in the calument City Area Office.  In 1990, she became an industrial hygiene training instructor at OSHA's National Training Institute in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Nancy is currently a Compliance Assistance Specialist with OSHA's Chicago North Area Office.  She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in biology from Purdue University.

Cucina Biagio Restaurant, 7313 W. Lawrence, Harwood Heights, IL (708-867-4641).

Directions: From Downtown, take I-90 West (toward O’Hare) to Harlem Avenue, exit South. Go approximately 1 mile to Lawrence, turn right (West) - on left side of street, about 1 block.
